View the sunset as you bike down Haleakala, away from the masses at the crowded summit area.

So let’s do it! Skip the early wake-up call, skip the crowds, skip the high altitude, skip the cold and skip the sunrise gimmick altogether. Take part in something original, something much safer, easier, more convenient and way more enjoyable than the long, drawn-out sunrise bike tours.
The biking portion of the ride consists of 2 separate rides through timeless Haleakala Ranch. After the 2nd ride is complete we will find the best place to take in a perfect Maui Sunset.
We use custom built bikes that are made specifically for the Haleakala Downhill Bike Ride. The seats are huge, the bikes are super well balanced. The brakes are safe and easy to use.
We have thought of everything so you don’t have to!
Meet us in Paia around 3:00 in the afternoon, depending on the time of year, and we’ll head up the mountain in our spacious van for the coolest bike tour experience in Hawaii. We stop along the way in different towns for optional shopping, restroom breaks, sight-seeing and pictures.
We provide all of the necessary gear you’ll need to complete this tour, all you have to do is show up. We have really nice gear too.
We have wind breaker jacks, pants and gloves to offer in case it is a bit chilly up at 6500 feet of elevation.
On every tour we provide all of the bottled water, gatorade and snacks you can put down, as well as plenty of opportunities for you to buy food and drinks along the way.
If the weather is bad we will give you the option to cancel and get a full refund, or reschedule.
We will take you up to 6500 feet of elevation on Haleakala during the time of day when we will be the only bike tour on the entire volcano, then we will bike the famous paved switchbacks of Haleakala.
Return to Paia about 5 hours later with plenty of time to have dinner, do some shopping or just head back to your resort.
Throughout the tour I will talk about the history of the island, the plant and animal life of Hawaii and so many other things that are interesting and relevant to Maui.
We will stop in the small town of Makawao so you can have time to shop, we will also provide donuts on a stick if they are not sold out. We will provide fresh banana bread if cannot score donuts.
A chase van blocks cars so you are able to ride in the middle of the lane on the roadways.
Cars will never be directly behind you when you are on the bike. Your personal belongings will be safe in our chase van for the duration of the tour.
